The NAS did not power on after I pressed the power button. What should I do?

Remove all the HDDs, make sure the power cable, power adaptor, and the power supply unit are connected correctly and the power supply is normal. If the problem persists, contact your local reseller or distributor for repair or replacement service.

I'm in a similar situation with a QNAP TS 419-PII system. Came home to find it off, and it refused to power on.

Have tried removing the drives, and also tried unplugging from my surge-protector to a different plug (that I know is good) in my house with no luck.

Most probably your PSU failed. Look around at the QNAP forum and you'll be able to get your qnap up again for about $50
