What should I do when the error message ''System has detected that your DNS server can't resolve hosts…' is shown?

There are two possible situations that the NAS will show the DNS error message. 1. DNS server address error * If the NAS is configured to use a static IP address, check that the DNS settings are correct in "System Administration" > "Network". If you are not sure about the DNS address, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or use google DNS server, 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4. * If the NAS is configured to obtain DNS server address automatically, check the DHCP server and make sure the server provides the correct DNS information. 2. Default gateway address error * If the NAS is configured to use a static IP address, check the default gateway settings and input a correct gateway address in "System Administration" > "Network". If you are not sure about the default gateway address, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider). * If the NAS is configured to obtain the default gateway server address automatically, check the DHCP server and make sure the server provides the correct default gateway information.
